Well you fill in a quick few details and they’ll ship over your free iPad without any real hassle. The iPad will come with a questionnaire with checkboxes that they expect you to fill out having used the iPad. This questionnaire is very valuable to Apple, so they include a return envelope with postage paid for, for you to send it back within 28 days.
What if you don’t fill in the questionnaire?
No idea to be honest. They haven’t threatened me in any way. They have simply made an extremely polite request that I do fill it in. I assume they’ll do nothing if I don’t. I guess generally people must be so delighted with receiving a free ipad (like I am of course), that the majority of people DO end up filling up the forms.
